Well the latest is. A new gearbox arrived and has been installed along with the rear diff (this is the last time I let them fit a 2 pin diff). Twisted Evil This leaves the lack of power issue. As the drive train has been fixed they can get now on with sorting it. Land Rover has told them to run a side by side comparison with a 'good' Whistle 110 and report back.

The latest is they want to change the EGR valve.......Guess what they are on back order until the 27th May. Shocked Shocked Shocked

I threw the toys out the pram yesterday big time. As a result an EGR valve was sourced from the forecourt to 'try it out on mine' apparently its sorted the problem. So I will be collecting The Red Dwarf later today.

The Red Dwarf was dropped off this afternoon. Test drive tomorrow from home off to Ikea Doncaster, Toys R Us Preston, popping in to a client in Trafford Park Manchester then home.

Popped the bonnet yesterday morning to check the oil and found this. Had it back for 6 days and it is back in the dealers. Vacuum Pump has gone again Big Cry

I had the same thing vacuum pump went boom Mad

Ah well it was the first problem besides the sump i had so i cant complain too much ...

But i have a niggle that is just getting worse, in sixt gear i hear a rattle when i accelerate and now i tend to hear it sometimes in 2nd too Shocked Big Cry

Any of u guys had this aswell ????

My 110 had a rattle in 5th and 6th. They changed the gear box, however the new box thats done about 600 miles is now doing the same. FFS I am totally Censored off with this vehicle.

Yeah mine started to do it very quickly aswell, its now almost a year old though and 21.000 km ...

But its starting to bug me now cause its starting to rattle in other gears Evil or Very Mad

One other niggle i have aswell maybe someone else has it to, is that when its in idle theres a rumbling noise that comes up, when i put my foot on the exhaust its gone or when i very very gently touch my accelerator its gone aswell Rolling Eyes

My stealer said its probly the egr valve Rolling Eyes

U guys have any ideas cause i dont trust their ideas Twisted Evil
