In true Land Rover style, I try to do it on a budget so I go for free products wherever I can. I alternate a bit between imovie on an ipad and movie maker on windows. I've found there are a lot of quality effects you can add to small clips on ipad and then email them back to windows for inclusion in movie maker. If you look at my youtube channel the video I did in Bala recently (part 1) shows a bit where I make the action run in reverse, which was a freebie ipad app. Basically though if you look at iphone or ipad imovie, any beginner can make something that looks impressive with minimum knowledge. I enjoy doing it, so if anyone ever wants some raw footage editing (as long as the floodgates don't open) I'm always happy to make a clip for people! |

Great, thanks. I've got an iPad so will have a go with those tools.
I just started playing with some time lapse apps on my Android phone, they are not bad. I have a Delkin mount and will try using that for some laning videos - from inside the windscreen... cheers simon |

Good stuff, also saw an app called GeoCam (Android), similar thing with geo data overlaid on the video or photo.
Also, just signed up on the Low Rangers forum, so will try and get out sometime when I've finshed puting my 90 back together...just watched the Bala videos... cheers simon |
