I'm on BT too, no problems, as Mrs G works from home and downloads drawings and stuff I don't understand, we go over the limit now and again, but the company pays for it

Got my BT Infinity installed and getting 70mb/s download and 15mb/s upload, so very pleased.
And no slowdown in the evenings like I did with Sky. Sky was 4mb/s down and 300kb/s up, so a big difference. Also get BT wifi when I'm out and about, so very useful. Only problem is that my Freesat Humax box is nowhere as nice to use as the Sky box. Might reconsider the TV side of things....:-/ |

Guess what - just outside Munich, a major German city, we can only get 3Mbps max DSL due to the existing wiring
Sometimes it's faster to use cellular You guys don't know how lucky you are! Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

UPDATE: After good speeds for about 6 weeks, the performance of the virgin fibre optic broadband dropped to way below dial-up modem speeds ... as you can imagine the virgin hell desk was very very apologetic but were frankly hopeless. Some evenings, no broadband as all.
So back to sky TV and copper broadband (until Sky can deliver cable) |

Just got rid of BT thankfully....
Signed up with Sky for broadband and Phone at the new house, should be connected on the 21/12. Not bothered about the TV, freessat and Apple TV box is fine for us. As we are in the sticks we were limited to who we could use ! 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top |
