On the 110, have enought space to "stick" the plate on the bumper, above the winch
Click image to enlarge On the lanner, had a piece of plate with a flat, bolted to the bumper top The Hybrid's is just stuck onto the bumper,, only fell off the once,, but not surprising !! I stuck mine in the bin.....
For about 4 years in total, I never ran a front plate. Never stopped once and it was my daily. |

Rather depends on which winch you have and what other front end furniture your truck is sporting.
I have a Superwinch Husky on the front and no other front end bling (lights, squishy bars etc) and my number plate is attached to the grill above the winch. I have had no cooling or air flow issues with it mounted like that, and it is well out of harm's way. Click image to enlarge |

Mine was stuck onto the bumper at the side, and on the Mantec one it sat on a plate mounted to the top of the bumper. The only note I would add is that if you stand on the bumper be careful that there is not a lip sticking up, I broke a number plate standing on the bumper and they are a PITA to get replaced these days...

when we had metalic plates it was easy as we could slightly bent them ...here, now this was the only option...it has to be on the front bumper otherwise it will fail MOT

You can still buy metal number plates that are MOT legal, I was considering a purchase for the front plat and may still. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PRESSED-ALLUMINI...2577f35358 |

Mine's in that numberplate indentation below the windscreen, needs trimming down slightly along both the top and bottom to get it to fit. the only infrigement of the rules is that the manufacturers details have gone.
not had any issues with mr plod yet and it still gets picked up by number plate recognition systems. |
