Cleaning upholstery?
Hi all,

My 110 has a few mystery stains/spots on the rear seat, I didn't notice them when I picked it up the other day.

As I don't know their origin ( Shocked ), any suggestions as to a general cleaner for these seats?

It is the rear fold-down seat, part fabric/part leather. It is the fabric part that is stained.

Auto Glym do a really good cleaner that comes with cloths and a sponge. I bought some when my son was sick everywhere in the back Big Cry . I think it was about £12. For a cheaper option good old Stardrops is pretty good too. Hope this helps.

I ended up using lighter fluid... it did the trick.

I was going to go out to Halfords, but I had just finished cleaning a vintage felt hat (fedora) using lighter fluid. This stuff is good at cleaning all sorts of stuff without ruining it, so I gave it a whirl.

Totally Off Topic!!! (Apologies to all moderators) Any left over you could utilise it on your local 'Friendly' Toyota Prius owner swiftly followed by a lit match! Sorry Eutek just couldn't resist!
