Hi Guys, wondered if anyone has any feelings about which modifications on the Puma make the most sense and really improve the experience of owning the car.
I guess its different for everyone as circumstances are not all the same, for me the car is my only car, but i dont need a car on a daily basis, I have a 4 year old and will use the car recreationally, enjoy some offroad trails, go camping and perhaps take some longer roads trips. mods i have in mind are: Central Locking - would be nice to have one that works with the key fob, not sure where to get that from though. Waxoyl underside New AT tyres - Probably -- Wrangler AT/SA 235/85 R16 Q -- any good? New Wheels Remove load bay seats - should i sell these? Waxoyl floor and then add sound-proofing New moulded matting from http://www.wrightoffroad.com/ Electric Windows - anyone recommend a good kit? Uprated ARB Remap Brighter headlamps Rear door card (trim) Side bar step - too high for the little springer Rear step Roll cage Bloody hell, its gonna cost a small fortune Anyone have ideas of how to make this list cheaper, easier or have any thoughts on missing items? Genuine electric window actuators are a reasonable price, easy to fit and much better than aftermarket kits

It is a Puma right? As far as I am know all Pumas have ABS and TC standard? Isn't there a ABS and TC light that lights up when you switch on the ignition? |

No ABS fitted according to those options. If it doesn't have ABS it won't have ETC. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Any idea what this would cost fitted? I think LR have an offroad pack that adds ABS and TC along with MTR tyres. Im a bit peeved to say the least, as the guy who i purchased the car from was advertising the cars stating ABS and traction control - not sure what that gets me under spanish law, probably zip all.... You can add aftermarket traction aids, diff lockers etc, there are a variety available, use the search feature on this forum for more info. I don't think you can add ABS at a reasonable cost, if at all

I'm the one who has it fitted even though Topix says not on my Td5, just have a look to see if there is a wire present that leads to the back of each wheel hub(that'll be for the wheel sensors) If you haven't got those then there is definately no tc/abs, if you have then a trip to someone with a diagnostics kit will be able to tell you if it has been enabled or not.
