2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 ST Corris Grey

Aftermarket Radio Help Required

I picked my brand new Defender 110 yesterday, (I will post pics later), its the basic model without a radio. I've purchased a sony radio/CD, and I would have thought it would be easy, as theres only 3 plugs to fit, anyway there is power to the unit, as it all lights up, and it can find radio stations, but NO sound. I've have check to see if there any current coming out of the unit to the speakers with a power tester, and there is!, do you have to activate the fitted speakers? I've fitted a radio in a previous Defender, no problems as its straight forward, or could there be fault with the wiring and its a Land Rover problem, any ideas? JE Zulu 110 now sold

That was my thought...it wont have without the head unit - you should have 2 in the rear either side of the door and 2 up front by each door pointing down, the tweeters are options but they would be on the top of the dash. Mike

Just a thought, I am going to check if the wires are plugged in at the speaker end, I will keep you informed

, but previous base model had them, Land Rover cutting costs I guess JE Zulu 110 now sold
