Halfords. What ever they have done fitting wise there should be nothing that should happen to cause the dash illumination to turn off. I'd go back there tell them what's happened and say you want it put right. TheThunder Rollsπ¬π§πΊπΈ

The radio might have a side light feed for the illumination.
