Very Nice ! Is that just a shortened roof? An engine to TDi for!

It's not finished yet, I'd planned to put alpine lights in, but one grew legs. New seals to be fitted, and cat flap to be found/built. I got a very cheap 88" hardcopy, cut the side panels shorter, cut roof down, and had an old 90 roof (where the alpine lights came from.) that I cut the end off to make the front edge, then made two end pieces from aluminium angle, a bulkhead from 2mm aluminium sheet. Rear fixings fit original in tub, on the front I plan to fix to the canvas tilt clamp, but considering over center latches or similar for quick removal. Its not too heavy, I can lift it off alone, but is very awkward because of the size!

Good spot. Thanks. Although that is costing 75% of the total build cost again!

I bet it will - but it might save you a fair bit of fabrication... My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk

Fair point. I do enjoy fabrication however. I will see how that goes...
