I have, and it was replaced for free. It was the wiring that went to the rear abs sensors.

Rats have chewed it........ Doubtfull. We have huge rat problems out here in Cyprus and they have chewed through plastic- ate washer bottle lids, carpets but never anything like that.
From what I remember there are a few people who have had problems with the routing of the wheel speed sensor cables which caused them to rub/ get crushed and fail. Sounds like they can't be bothered putting it through warranty claim. Glyn |

I endured a similar fault as Glyn stated was down to cable routing. All the following are related to the same/similar defect:
