MAF problem fixed
Just purchased a newer '06 HT90 to replace my existing '03 HT90. Had a few grand so thought 50k less miles was a good investment.

So now looking to sell the '03 90. It's a fab truck I've had from almost new (first egistered to the dealer for 3 mths). There is absolutely nothing wrong with it apart from the rear wing cappings have started to rust on the corners. My dilema is do I have them sorted before I auction on ebay or sell as is showing the two areas of rust. A local bodywork specialist has quoted £500 to replace the cappings and paint?

Any experience of best way to go?

Why not advertise on Ebay at £xxx with rust sorted or £xxx less £500 if they sort it themselves .....

The labour to swap the capings is really high as most will take the roof off, as your selling it it might be worth trying to paint without taking off or take them off yourself and just get the bodyshop to paint them.

Imagine my displeasure when my local specialist had done half of this to fit my new galv capings only to fid that they were warped and wouldn't fit.

The supplier agreed to replace them but I couldn't wait to get it back so the roof went back on without them Sad

Dur !! Was going to say hoo rah fixed my lack in power when I looked at the maf and found the gasket was missing. Ended up asking a completely different question Embarassed
