Personally, I wouldn't buy a MAF off eBay, unless it was an eBay store of a reputable LR parts supplier. There isn't much differential in buying fom local LR parts or if you need to buy online use one of the main LR parts suppliers.
For the MAF it's just not worth the hassle of risking getting an inferior copy. Cheers Steve |

Did you read the question? The op asked if it was a genuine part because Landrover don't make all their own parts. If Siemens make the maf for Landrover and you buy from them you don't get the Landrover markup

There's still a risk of buying a fake Siemens VDO part, particularly on eBay. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

please be aware a lot of sellers are listing parts as OE/OEM, to me and most people that means Original Epuipment but the new trend is for it to mean Or Equivalent

Yes and I thought it was a helpful bit of advice. Unfortunately there are too many Charlatans on eBay and a lot of time you can't go by picture or description. I've fallen fowl of this myself, buying what was described as genuine LR parts only to find they are cheap aftermarket spray painted parts. Cheers Steve |
