I can get a genuine oil cooler & seals for about £250 - thing is that my Porsche cayenne needs fixing as well as my Discovery & my work van - having just taxed the lot it's a very expensive time

Ment to add that I'm steering well clear of Britpart - I changed the water pump on my disco & the bearing has gone in less than 500 miles

hi, following replacement of the cooler/seals
/pipes whats the best way to flush the oil out of the coolant system? someone told me to fill up with water & bleach - run up the engine to temperature then drain it all out repeating this a few times - how does that sound to you guys ? |

Best way is using water and clothes washing liquid. Using bleach won't work as it does not dissolve oil it kills germs..
Andy Ps stop about and go and get some scratches on it, then it will be more reliable as it will be happy. |
