You should have got an EKS code when you got the defender which will bypass the immobiliser for one ignition cycle to get you home if the key fob has failed. If not the dealer can read it straight off the 10AS using their diagnostic tool, or if you have a Nanocom or MSV2 etc, you can do it yourself. The disc holds the key set number for your defenders lock set, you would quote that number to the LR parts department if you needed to order additional pre cut keys. |

I gave the dealer my VIN and reg number this morning and got a reset code. Tried several times and it does not reset. Sods law my MSV is in the UK and I'm in Ireland. John

Sounds as though they have either recorded the wrong code at build or it has been changed in the meantime. You may need to find a local independent to check the 10AS settings page to read the code stored. Have you changed any of the settings in the 10AS previously? Also does the interior light work when opening and closing the drivers door.

Interior light works when opening and closing the drivers door. I've had the 110 since new virtually, before that my brother had it so I'm sure no setting have been changed. I'll look around for a dealer, see if they will come out to it. John

Many thanks to Ian at IRB for his help in sorting out the issue with resetting my alarm. I can't thank him enough, other than continuing to support him by buying his excellent products. John
