I built another PC ages back, again miniITX, so i've just got to get that into a box and mount it in the 90. 25th is better for me, not available on the 18th. |

I'm keen to get back down here again, but not sure I can make 25th Nov. Are there any more trips planned down here before Xmas? I've only ever managed a couple of trips, but loved 'em both and keen to get out again...! Simon

Just back. Was good to meet up on the Plain today . Always nice to put a face to the name.
After we left you we had a couple of hours bimbling around and then went back to the car at CHD for a brew and lunch. Just about to set out for the afternoon session and then a Land Warden turned up, with Plod in the passenger seat. Had a friendly chat and found out the Cat 1 tracks were closed to all traffic apart from Mil vehicles . Pleaded ignorance which helped. I could use the byways but not the cat 1 tracks. So as my memory isn't the best and I had no maps with me we decided to pack up and go home. And just like buses, we were all loaded and just checking the straps, and then MOD plod turned up with real plod in passenger seat. Had the same conversation, real plod asked a few questions about my quads and seemed happy. They then drove round the other side of my trailer and started speaking to Jo. Lots of chit chat and smiles and they left all happy. So only managed about 10 miles today on the quads but Jo managed a lot more than she thought she would so we are happy. Will be back out in a few weeks for another drive out. 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

Was indeed good to meet everyone again today.
After Steve & crew continued on, myself & walfy had a chit chat, then went our separate ways. I had a call from work so had to head back to Swindon to do a couple of jobs (although went back across the middle of the areas) 110 is rather grubby now... think I'll get the jetwash out before it gets dark here. |

Ahhh.... but you need to know what he was doing, where he was doing it, and his previous employment posting for the last 3 years (giving him daily access to this area, thus remembering where the RoW's are) However he's getting old now, and his memory isn't as sharp as it once was... |

4 years Jamie!!!!! Felt like a lot less than that though.
I need to get a few bits and bobs and try and get my toughbook mounted on the front rack. I don't think I used maps for the last 2 years in my last job. When you are out and about on the Plain most days of the week it becomes second nature. But having left almost 18 months ago the memory goes a bit fuzzy. Hence my staying in the area around CHD as I knew for certain where the byways were but being able to get a few miles in without using the Cat 1 tracks it then becomes a tad more difficult. 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |
