Back at the Dealers (again)
Well the other night on my way home, the Landy lost all power (just ran flat) no amount of changing gears or throttle position made any difference.

Then it did pick up again for a mile or so then the same again loss of power.

Land Rover assist sent the AA out, who plugged in the computer which showed no faults!!

So I take the AA man for a test drive, luckily the same fault happened again.

I now wait for the Dealers verdict and fix (cant wait to hear what the Cock Up fairies come out with next)

How did LR build such a pile of pooh as the Puma?
i've had the same and after a couple of visits to the stealer it was found to be over heating mainly because i had only clean'd the radiator from the front and not from the rear by taking the fan couling off, can't get pics now but if i describe it as looking like a muddy foot path you may get the point, it does seem that if the temp needle moves a fraction past half way the engine dies and will only kick back in when the temp has dropp'd, all with no fault codes, clean radiator sorted mine out.

dealer say its my fault as the vehical is to have (hand book says?) a service after heavy off roading Shocked

saying that they have not clean'd it as part of a normal service.

and they would ask why we call them stealerships.

Well since the Landy went away for its Sleepover at the dealers (on Saturday) I've just rung them to see what the story is.

Only to find since it went in on the Weekend the Sale Staff haven't passed the keys onto Service so its just been sat there!! Big Cry

Too be honest I told them to keep the hire car, I'll use my MG BGT as it more reliable:)

That is totally your call, I expect if you do you'll be selling someone a really nice vehicle with all the probs sorted.

To 'whinge' about being offered a "Thirsty" RR Rolling Eyes

It appears you've been blinkered by some of the negative PUMA threads.

I've owned mine since July, been back to Dealers 3 times for warranty work, totally happy with their work.

Totally happy. Very Happy

Good Luck and remember it's a Land Rover!! Thumbs Up Love in this order; Burnley FC, Defender, Kids, Wife, LOL

Well I think I may have owned a Puma a bit longer than you then, and use it as a daily work wagon and as such it can not be depended on as a reliable form of transport.

These are all problems which should have been sorted before it went on sale to the Public.

Never again will I part with my own hard earned cash on LR.

So if anyone interested in the bit of Brummy rubbish give me a shout (Stornaway Gray 07 plate 28'000 on the clock FSH)
""I've owned mine since July, been back to Dealers 3 times for warranty work, totally happy with their work. ""

If you think going back to the Dealer every couple of months is good on a new vehicle is good, we have very different views on what we expect..

Might suggest taking the Rose Tints off Wink
