I don't suppose you have a link to spec / closer pictures ?

I've looked on the MobileCentre website and can only find the River Runner ones

Agree.

But were the rings the problem with fitting? Will the new rings fit better?

i disagree i would say the mobile centre ones are the halfords look as you are moving away from standard ?

also mine are on a challenge truck so surely the cheaper replacement is better than the exspensive ones that IMHO dont look right on a defender

Yes they are "River Runners".

River Runners was a trade name for LED Defender lights rather than a design and still is.

Version 3 River Runners which is currently made by Speaker launched in 2009.

If I were a thief, I would always carry a set of bolt cutters with me (if they weren't so heavy I would carry them anyway as I think they're cool).

What about these Speaker indicators? Can I fit them with my newly-acquired 8700s (the basic ones)?

Yes they fit no problem.

It is all about personal choice - when we had the LEDs visibile such as the BoB ones people said they did not like that look so we spent more on design and used lensing instead of multiple LEDs. We also upped our warranty to four years Thumbs Up

As for strength ours are the strongest LED replacement on the market Thumbs Up
