Member not keeping his side of deal...
I did a deal with a member from these forums (I knew of him from others too) nearly 2 years ago.

We swapped gearboxes and associated parts....or at least he came and took mine away but 2 years later he still hasnt kept his end of the deal by providing me with a working, good condition TD5 R380 manual box, clutch, flywheel and pedal box assembly.

I've requested on many occasions that he honor his side of the deal, mostly I get little or no response, he ignores calls, messages and PM's except for the odd one like the threatening text I got back last time I asked for my gearbox.

I'm hoping that this may prompt him to keep his side of the bargain, he remains as yet un-named but I have no qualms about splashing all his details over the internet and then taking him to court if needs be, but i'd rather not. I have evidence in PM, email and text of the deal so plenty to back up my side.

Any advice on how to make him keep his side of the deal?? Understandably after 2 years i've had enough of his games (and threats)... TD5 D-Lander

Shouldn't have posted it on here, too easy for people to look up the deal you did, every story has two sides. You should sort it out face to face or resort to small claims court rather than name and try to shame Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Yes every story has 2 sides....he has my stuff and hasnt kept his side of the deal.

I'd love to know the latest excuse, and to be honest he deserves being named and shamed - 2 years and still not delivered on his side is pretty poor by anyones standards. TD5 D-Lander

Its the very place.

Its where it all started and for anyone with half an ounce of seach ability its not a mystery person either! I'm hoping this will prompt him into action as he has ignored my recent attempts to contact him.

If of course he doesnt feel like keeping his side of the deal then I shall go global with this and name and shame publically and then file court papers - 10 minutes of my time to do that its so easy and I have enough evidence to win without breaking a sweat. TD5 D-Lander

This is wrong and one shouldn't air or make threats to 'name and shame' on a forum. Sort it out through the correct channels.

SMO you strike me as an individual such as the one below......Grow a pair and do the right thing, the correct and mature way. Whistle I note your post has been reported so this thread will most likely get canned anyway.

Forums invariably tell tales of woe, strife and can be full of negativity. Indeed there are those that will simply register to find the solution to a particular problem, contribute nothing constructive and be never heard from again unless of course they experience further issues. Thumbs Up

If the correct channels worked then I wouldnt be here airing this publically - they didnt so here it is.

I fully expect this to get canned, he's just PM'd me to say I'll get nowhere on here..... TD5 D-Lander
