Neither, they are to go in the back where I have built a shelve for my power tools,I want to fix them on the upstand part which is behind the second row of seats high level

So you want something freestanding as it were just fixed down (to keep it in place) is that correct? Not a conventional speaker that is mounted into a recess? $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

That's the sort of thing, the sort of thing we used to fix to our rear parcel shelves on our ford escort,orions,sierras etc back when we couldn't afford landys !

I think Focal do something along those lines. Killer 90 showed me a picture of something similar although I think it may have been a sub. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

plenty do surface mount units for the parcel shelf - i used a pioneer unit (3 way) to bolt to the dog guard. Do a search on pioneer here and you should see an earlier thread with the unit type
