radio memory issue
Hi all. 300 90.

For the first time this morning since having a new 5 year Bosch battery fitted when I started the car it dropped the radio memory. Now it did this a lot with the old optima but has been fine since.

What would make it forget? Could the starter be tired drawing too much etc . Terminals look clean and will be checked again, any other ideas?

Cheers. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Sounds like you have a faulty connection to the permanent live. I don't know the model of your car but it's likely a purple cable.

As a former stereo tech I should have thought of that. Blinded by the rest if the cars faults I guess. Cheers. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.
