Above had his 90XS stolen off his drive in Darley Abbey last night,luckly the shop keeper over the road was woken by the three scums removing the headlamps then fastenening a tow rope to the front and towing it away with a Green Isuzu Rodeo pick up, when they spotted the Police in pursuit, stopped, cut the the tow rope off and let the 90 roll backwards down the hill which then crashed into the front of the Police car,amazingly no one was injured.

The 3 Censored then just drove off towards Derby ! 2.4 90 XS

Defender: Minimum damage to rear right quarter, mud flap bent, few scratches on paint. I love my rear cross member Very Happy , solid as a rock.

Police car: Write Off.

Plus at least I have her back, well eventually, lucky I guess. Very Happy Cogito ergo sum

Police in pursuit..... then the cut loose Defender crashed into the front of the police car.......... and then what? Silence? Shocked Do they have only one police car there Question Rolling Eyes

If that would happen here, there would be within 30 secs at least half an army of mostly anonymous police cars taking part in the pursuit. Believe we have at least 10 anonymous police cars of numerous makes/colors for 1 official one. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

@Paul55..... Glad you got her back chap. Out of interest, did you have any form of extra security on the truck, in addtion to whatever was factory fitted?
