Some harsh replies Shocked Laughing but glad to see OP has not taken offence.

For those that say fuel economy is not a good reason for buying a Defender then I would beg to differ.

I'm moving froma TDV8 so expect better fuel economy. Over 28k miles per annum that makes quite a difference.

However, I do concede that any savings will be probably be ploughed back into adorning it with various bits of offroad bling & tat which will have the double effect of increasing mpg and shrinking any banked savings.

Hopefully, I'll come out even in the end Rolling with laughter
