Just been looking into the Safari snorkels on the market but I notice in some places there is a different Safari part number. Is there differences between them?

Not sure how up to date it is but lots of part number details here Steve...as late as July this year so should be pertinant. Good fitting tips too! Thumbs Up

Welcome....Should be all you need to know. Thumbs Up Important is to read my tip on page 4 about alignment, that way you will not have to step drill such a large hole as the instructions state. You can reduce by 4mm.

It's still knocking around somewhere but I am planning to use it on the 90 when I get round to rebuilding. Sorry

I wondered if there was anything like that on sale over the summer, was going down a narrow lane with a load of berry bushes hanging over into the road, the top of the snorkel clobbered a few of them and I wondered if it'd have 'sucked' any berries down, and how to retrieve them if it had. No sign of them in the air filter box so who knows...

Probably not then. Even if it did get inside it wouldn't get past the filter anyway. I think Safari have a design in the top to keep rain out and disperse it so I would imagine it would keep most larger debris out tt except dust of course. But that's for the filter to deal with. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Not in this country but may be handy for a two week jaunt to the Sahara or similar. For anything more serious than that then a proper cyclonic filter would be a better option. Darren

I see these are all curve top. How do the cone dome top ones compare? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender
