Have you got room for one more? I don't have a CB but I do have a perfectly able and tidy 90 Td5 to throw at the mud. It's years since I've been on the plain. I'm a newbie on the forum but a seasoned landy owner and off-roader with 3 90's, 1 Disco and a classic RR under my belt. |

Well….where do I start?????
The day started out as a gentle jaunt across the plains with some nice shiny Defenders! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Then the mud turned up!! That’s the carpets talking Click image to enlarge Then whilst taking luncheon at the mud hole and watching a bunch of jap crap’s getting stuck and a bloke on a motor bike undertake a superman dive/face plant (sorry no pic of that) one of our group decided it would be a good Idea to play in the mud hole!!!! That was until he sank up to his knees! Click image to enlarge So the call went out for 1 strong man to save the child Click image to enlarge As that didn’t work they called for 2 strong men (there was a slight pause while the pros and cons of leaving the stuck child were deliberated) Click image to enlarge But as that still didn’t work the first man thought he’d try again. Click image to enlarge But guess what??? NO that didn’t work either so we called for a shovel and dug him out Click image to enlarge The calm after the near death experience! (Notice the muddy jeans on the defender bonnet!) Click image to enlarge After we all recovered from the stress of the near death experience! We decided to keep driving; apparently that’s what we went out for in the first place!
