Took my Wisa board off the roof rack. Roof rack coming off next, going to cure the rattling of the board. As well as tarring the roof rack up with some paint.
I've got a custom rear drawer system being made up right now, buy a top bespoke shop fitting company Smile

The 90 is getting some more love. She was looking sad after being put up for sale Sad

Two roof tents, one foxwing and roofbars off the Defender.

Must admit I prefer the red 110 naked up top!

Said goodbye to yogi, that was the name we gave our 110. Been a laugh, and Mrs Tack weeped when we left the LR dealership in the D4. I wernt much better Whistle

Hope yogi gets looked after as well as looked after him.

One thing I wish I had done along time ago............ Removed all the big things I'm selling now, as it drives soooo much better without that extra weight. We weighed the stuff, approx 210kgs. Each day I removed something during this week, it drove better and spritier. One of the biggest surprises was how much drag the 2 light fore 140's on the roof bar caused.

On quick review ( I did PX my D3 for the defender originally) and this could start a debate, the defender 110 utility notable positives,

has loads more useable boot space than a d3/d4
Was a better more enjoyable driving experience when off roading.
Was better on AT's in deep mud/uneven wet muddy ground than my D3, either through better control of power delivery and the feed back from the vehicle, or the vehicle had an advantage of front clearance or less weight over the d3 in these circumstances.
Having the spare on the back made it easier when I got a puncture, plus I stood on his (had Mantec carrier) when accessing the roof rather than just the single ladder.
Got liked by other motorists, let out of junctions etc.

Swings and roundabouts but these are some of the positives I have enjoyed.

Circumstances changed this year and a change was decided Wink

Tack

Good luck with the D4, remember not to shout at each other, now you're in a quieter environment Thumbs Up

Nice of you to point out the positives over the D3 Cool

Went out with a ze Germans on a greenlaning tour. Very easy but also very enjoyable and informing.

Whoever says the Germans haven't got a sense of humour....some of the old boys were stopping me (mine was the only vehicle with uk plates) and pointing me in the direction of Berlin Laughing The wife didn't get the joke until I explained about the war and the fact that he was old enough to have been there Rolling with laughter
