Waterless antifreeze
Has anyone used waterless engine coolant and what are your thoughts? It sounds good in principal but would it suit my 2004 td5?
Any thoughts appreciated
Cheers
Ray

Haha yeah, I'd not even heard of it before but if it does what they said it could be worth trying.

Trouble is a good idea in principle but when they say it lasts a lifetime but what happens if a part of the cooling system needs replacing? Then of course the system would need draining. Then it becomes expensive.

Yeah I can see that but if your planning on keeping the vehicle would the Benefit of no corrosion out way the cost? Also if you go by manufacturers recommendations and you don't have a failure in 6 years the cost is the same roughly as 3 regular antifreeze replacements. I've had a few older cars and seen the sludge that comes out of the water system and thought was a great idea
