Fitted mine last month, takes a matter of minutes.
Remember to take off the old vent first - just to enable you clean out the heater well, before then refitting the original vent; as the snow cowl fits on top of the OEM. Regards M "Ease your worries, Clear-up your woes, Go into your garage & put stuff into rows." |

Makes a big difference here in Finland during the winter. The heater breathes much better after a snowfall when the heater duct isn't full of snow... Snow in the duct also makes the air pulled into the cabin quite humid, so fogging of the windows is also reduced. Good buy for me atleast.

Glad I had my one on last winter. Would rather like a black stainless steel version now though

Wise choice K90. You will not be disappointed with the quality. Did you order the gasket as well?
I fitted mine with with the Entreq cowl on top of the gasket on top of the original vent. This gave a nice little extra clearance between the cowl and the wing where it curves over. Without it I thought it was a bit close for comfort, and it also makes it watertight so that no surface water on top of the wing can creep under the edge of the cowl and into the heater box. ![]() Click image to enlarge Pete |

Me too, it was rather close to the wing without it. Put some araldite in the screws as well to keep someone from nicking it when I'm not around (based on prior experience of someone helping themselves to bolt-on accessories). I surprised as to how much "stuff" managed to get past the factory plastic grill. ![]() |
