Today I removed the Foxwing, HF radio and give her a clean. It upset Mrs Greeni and she had tears in her eyes....
I. Got the tape measure out and can't believe a 130 is only 5' longer |

Washed and waxed the 110. Checked the engine oil, coolant water, brake fluid and topped up the screen wash. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Ooh, that's just reminded me that I haven't been shooting for quite a while! I'll make up for it next week on my shooting holiday to Devon what gun have you got ? An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

AyA No2 loving it. I've been using a Caesar Guerini Maxim for the past few years, way too heavy to lug around all day, but great for clays. |

This weekend prepared it for its first Swiss MOT which is coming up next thursday. Needs not only to be sparkling clean at the outside for that here, but also the chassis and the engine/bay need to be spic and span. Swiss do not like dirty hands . Also took the snowcover off for the MOT, because they see that here as a dangerous weapon which can kill pedestrians . Further cleaned all the remaining brakes dust from the winter Modulars and treated both sides of my Nokians with Michelin tire brilliant.... Loaded the four winter wheels in the back, together with the new Speakers and SS rings from Mobilecentre , so that right after the MOT, the truck goes to the dealer for changing the summer- for the winter wheels, and install the new lights You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

From what I can see that looks like a Harvestman http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opiliones Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |
