South West Club Meet Idea 28/10/2012
Hi ladies and Gents,

As im new here i hope this is ok to do?

i was thinking that maybe as i dea and depending on interest, we could have a get together on Sunday the 28th of this month at the below address, as the Pub is owned by a fellow member on here (drive4change) Thumbs Up

http://www.admiralstablepubbridgwater.co.uk/

we could meet up and have a drink or something to eat maybe? its J23 Bridgewater of the M5, Somerset Thumbs Up Bridgewater

QUOTE from drive4change:

I am more than happy to give all Defender2.net members 20% discount on food. This cannot unfortunately apply to special offers i.e. 2 Roasts and 2 Desserts for £15.
However, The Admirals Table is a Marstons 241. So when two people each order a main course, the cheaper of the two meals is free. Defender2.net members would then get an ADDITIONAL 20% discount on the food proportion of the bill. See if we cant get some more Defenders in the car park!

what do you think?

Stu

What sort of areas of this County are we talking? A meet alone is all very well but what about an odd lane or two mixed in? By that I mean BOAT's that some of us know well locally that are completely drivable (Not stupidly rough) and not gonna take all the paintwork off. Shocked Seeing as none of us are part of the £1 - 2 -3 4k crew no one wants to damage their Puma nor myself. Maybe just something to think about if nothing else. Itsa little drive for me but think it would be worth it to put names to faces so to speak and as its a members pub it has been agreed that if we get enough of us going a section will be reserved for us if we are eating etc and its cheap and worth it even for a drink maybe but will leave it up to everyone to see who fancies it so to speak Thumbs Up

If not I will got for a nice roast anyways Whistle

The idea has been suggested a few times in the past !!

The 28th would be a no goes for me, as its the same weekend as the Wooldridge Trophy at Wellington California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1
