I want one already! One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
+ New Defender 110 First Edition |

I'd like one of those as well. I was hoping to persuade my wife that a D3 or D4 would be the perfect car for her. Unfortunately she wanted a Freelander 2 so we got one of those instead (a very good car, I have to confess). I'll just quietly hanker after a D4 myself (by the way, what's it like compared to the D3?). One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

I never driven a D4 yet. I personally think there wouldn't be that much difference. OK little different interior and maybe a few more horses but I can't complain about that anyway with my V8.
I drove about 40000 km in the last 13 months and I still smile if I see my G4. And no real problems yet. Roel 1984 90 2.5 na Diesel - RR V8 (1994-2001) 1997 Camel Trophy Discovery 300TDI (2001-2009) 2005 G4 Discovery III 4.4 V8 (2008-2018) It's gone but it still hurts. 2003 90 Td5 (2009-now) |

I can't help but think the new Defender will (inevitably) be like the new Beetle, Mini etc.
Nice, if you like that sort of thing. We'll see though. |
