Td5 air box sensor?
On my 110 (15P engine) the sensor on the air box has 4 pins on it, with a corresponding 4 pin plug.

The 90 i'm buiding, i've fitted the defender Td5 loom to the (ex disco, not that this really matters) engine, and again have the 4 pin plug for the air box

But.... the air box i have, eventhough it looks just like any other Td5 defender box, only has a 3 pin socket on the sensor (and said sensor is slightly different shape, with a slightly different moulding for the "lid" of the air box)

Anyone know what this is? can I just try to fit in a 4 pin sensor, or is this lid off of a late or early model? or a disco? are disco boxes the same shape as defender? Question Question Question

Just to muddy the waters a bit more i was under the bonnet of a V8 p38 recently and the air filter box looked just like the one in my td5. 2005 Td5 90 XS

Ah, thanks for that... useful info Thumbs Up ; it looks like I may have the wrong lid for mine then. I know to check now and see if there's a part number moulded on it anywhere.

Sorted: got a proper defender Td5 air box lid now, with the proper sensor in it.
