Missing the 110
At the weekend first born son to of a tumble on his mountain bike- nothing difficult there in itself but the tumble involved driving his foot up between his leg bones halfway up his shin. There again not a problem apart from the fact he did it in Surrey and he lives in London and his wife doesnt drive.
So I drove down on Sunday to be a good mummy and ferry everyone around and as his flat has parking for vertically challenged vehicles only so I came in the smart. Gawd how i miss the 110, I have had to drive through random bits of London in the rush hour and i have been seriously bullied and all I could think was there is no way you would do this to me if I was in the 110. I have already decided never again I would rather park in the non secure car park across the road than put up with that again.
Good news is he is home tonight, bad Newsweek have to get him to Guildford next week to see the surgeon again and he will need another op 3months down the line.

was the bike ok?

having only driven in london twice i know the weapon of choice will ALWAYS be a LR with galv military bumper at the front and military bumperettes at the rear and plenty of battle scars on the bodywork - it clearly shows your intent! Very Happy
