46C degrees, a fe hundred kg's of load in the Puma and 1.5 tonne of of-road trailer behind it. Not a problem. If it can handle the temps in the north of AUstralia I don't see it being any different.
However, I have worn through an intercooler hose and that did give the same effect you describe. I suspect there is either an air restriction or something is wrong with the turbo or MAF or MAP sensors and the engine is being starved of air or boost pressure. You could also have a stuffed intercooler. 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi LROCV ::: AULRO.com |

boost pressure not registering in diagnostic (no fault codes at all have come up). Turbo already been replaced (no difference). Intercooler being looked into on Monday, just checking that a larger intercooler, fitted by LR does not invalidate warranty. will mention other points raised. cheers

Just an aside as I realise you said you have no fault codes.
If there's insufficient boost pressure the ECM logs a P0299 code. If it logs 3 in a row the MIL light comes on and you go in to limp mode until the fault is cleared. Things you learn when you blow an intercooler hose 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi LROCV ::: AULRO.com |
