Did the SVX bikini top come standard with the SVX when new or was it an additional cost option ?
If it was an option, how much was it and what are they worth 2nd hand now ? Thank you |

From memory they where a gift due to the delays when launched. However only a few SVXs where pre-sold, the majority hung around a while and may or may not have had their Bimini top (they wherent refered to as Bikini tops) when they where sold.
They dont really fit anything else easily so may not have the greatest 2nd hand value. |

I have one but it was been converted into a red muff many moons ago as it didn't fit my 90!!
I'm sure someone who has an SVX as 'an investment' would like to have the correct bimini hood.... is there an owners club? James |

They were given as a gift by LR as a apology for the wait suffered for preordered vehicles. (told June 08 I got mine in November ) the Bimini hoods wer made by Exmoor trim and very good quality.
I'd keep hold of yours as the the last one on eBay only made £50.
