The FCX SVX-a-like has been an auto 300Tdi for three years now and although it has been very reliable it lacks a certain ... excitement! - So we've decided to go V8! - Engine has been sourced - Watch this space for updates ....

Not really, 3.9 V8i from a Disco, to be honest I'm 'Captain Slow' when it comes to driving and that'll be plenty for me - infact it's more about the sound than the performance - fed up with listening to the 300

Probably this one - this was a project we started and then abandoned when I realised that as I already had 4 Defenders was building a 5th really a good idea

i'd stick with the 300 personally, get it tweaked with a VNT etc and a decent pipe. I agree on the noise bit though |

OK, slow to start this conversion for various reasons (got sidetracked with the FCX 130 mostly) but now full steam ahead !
The 300TDi engine, autobox and Jeremy Fern intercooler are all up For Sale in the relevant section with more parts available as they come off. Watch this space |
