It looks like making them is a slow process, and the only way to get one is to go to Ray's site and join the waiting list.

I cannot believe you have been brainwashed into spending £270 on a knife that you can pick up for a few pounds in a local hardware store or ASDA!! I go big game hunting all the time and if I passed one of the guys this style knife, they would peel their potatoes with it.Not skin a bear, moose or a dear.My recommendation for you is to have a think about this....this is a spud knife.Easily attainable from ASDA.
if you want a good knife go for the phill boguszewski cold steel http://www.bkcg.co.uk/products/manu/coldsteel/cs26b.JPG NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY |

I haven't been brainwashed into buying any knife !
The knife is for a friend, I've tried telling him that the steel isn't much cop and that they are made by a guy who sells much better knives of his own brand. I too do lots of shooting, and have done since the age of 6, I've never skinned anything with a tatie peeler ! I personally wouldn't touch a Ray Mears knife or a phil boguszewski knife, I have my own idea on which knife is best, the question was where if possible can I get my hands on a Ray Mears knife?
