If not deep enough for the Anderson connector to stand up (which is what I assume you are thinking of?) how about lying it down and having a short flex of cable so you can lift it up and plug in ? 1999 Defender TD5 110

I put my Anderson connector on the front bumper and took a feed of the winch cables and in addition it has a kill switch as well so the connector cant be shorted out. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Might swap back so an Orkney Grey KBX grille might be for sale soon.

how about re-painting the grille and surrounds satin black ?

re: your battery install, do you have plans to insulate the +ve terminals? - what controller did you opt for ?

Switched on the heated windscreen... only to find that a lot of it isn't heated anymore. Dealer broke loads of filaments when they re-sealed the glass last week. At least it's dry inside now Rolling Eyes
So do I take it back and risk it leaking again or just put up with it for now (at least through this winter)?

6th trip to the dealers and it's only the first year. Sometimes it's just so exhausting Sad Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Yes I have terminal covers Thumbs Up

Went for the Traxide controller as it performed well in my D3 and a very popular unit on D3 forum.

I have thought of fitting the original black grille but getting light surrounds painted Orkney Grey to match. Another option was the Entreq old school surrounds but Brendan has not replied to my post for cost. 993 Varioram - Guards Red
