Thanks for comments guys Cool
We didnt have the trailer on, over the pass...thankfully. We did meet a couple of cars, but on the way down.

I drove the 500 miles back in one hit and have a huge blister on my elbow from resting it on the door Shocked

We still didn't do Skye, Morar and Sandwood Bay...that will have to be the next trip.
We had midge trauma for one morning only, but we took gallons of Avon Skin So Soft, so weren't mutilated, unlike a poor woman on a caravan site who was covered....we donated a bottle to her Wink

The weather in Glencoe was not too bad, yes rain, but plenty of prolonged sunshine in between. Enough for us to go for a 2 hour stroll without a soaking.

We stayed in Reraig campsite for 2 nights and for the first 2 days it rained for 20 mins, then stopped for 20mins, rained for 20 mins...continually. We don't mind as it just made the scenery more dramatic.

There were LOTS of foreign motor bikers, mainly Germans on GS's, wherever we parked, we attracted motor bikers who parked next to us and spoke to us....it must of been the coffees and snacks on the bonnet that attracted them!

I can honestly say that around every corner, Mrs G just said "wow". The place is just overwhelmingly beautiful Thumbs Up

I can't wait go again.

We did first night in an Aberfoyle Trossachs Holiday Park campsite, very nice place, showers etc brilliant. Not inspiring scenery though. Very close to the 3 Lochs Drive.
Glencoe was our next stop at the C&C club site, which was simply amazing. Worth joining just to find out about it.
The next was Reraig, worryingly stuck in time place, but pleasant, very clean and welcoming wardens. Shop nearby and a huge Loch across the road.. ( can't remember name as memory is pants) ! Oh yeah, thanks mrs G... Loch Alsh.
We kept the fuel tank full at most opportunities to fill up, as we didn't know when the next fuel stop was.
Sorry Harvey for the mix up Laughing

Greeni - where you're parked in Plockton - it's a great Yak launch at high tide (and a long muddy walk at low tide) - the loo's have a (slightly hidden) hose as well so you can wash the gear and leave it to dry for 30 mins whilst enjoying an ice cream Thumbs Up Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

@martink, the chick who does kayakplockton was just taking about 8 people out, so we watched them struggle down to the water Laughing

@me@td5 my bike has just enough, thank you. It's a good job I've been getting the miles in lately, otherwise I would of spat my lungs out on the climb. Thumbs Up

Thanks for comments Stu Thumbs Up
