Oh, and as the TDV8 has been remapped by JE Engineering it also has 313bhp and 800nm torques!

Have been on the phone with a few folk tonight, including a couple of relatively local specialists & bodyshops I have used.
It is going to to be many £££ to convert, IF I can find the appropriate panels, and that is money I will never see again, as the result will simply be another SW. Add to that the fact that my DC is my daily driver, and I cannot have it off the road for the time it would take to do the job properly........ So leaving that option aside, which is the best way to go (and damn you RRUK, that TDV8 just is melting my mind......... 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey |

I'm not sure you'll end up with any more room going from a DC to a CSW - the extra two seats in the back take up a BIG bulk of the available space - you certainly wouldn't get a pram in behind them - I'd (I did - had a Tombraider DC) stick with the DC .... my 2p worth

Thanks - the SW idea is basically to give the similar space as the DC but "internal" as opposed to under the rear cover. Also, the option of extra seats in use helps when it becomes less of a daily driver and more "dad's taxi" as it is already getting close to.
Am now trying to narrow down - rolling both 110DC & A4 Audi Conv into a single vehicle - and the choices of that vehicle are the FFRR TDV8 (yes, only 5 seats, but massive space) or the 110 SW XS. Will not be looking at anything else - been there & done it before. Just thinking if selling or trading in my 110 as is or stripped back to as bought will nett more £££. 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey |

I've had three 110 CSWs and a TR 110 DC, the CSW layout works well for me as an 'all round' vehicle but I found the DC great for not having to worry about slinging crap and muddy dogs in.
The best for space usability was my TD5 12 seater as the benches in the back folded up to give a fair bit of space. The Pumas have been the best for passengers / family comfort but the rear two seats take up most of the boot and often people take them out for trips away. I had a play in a 4.2 earlier this week. I'm tempted to trade in the 110. |

No idea yet - got to do a search around and get a few valuations, but when I bought it, with NONE of the extras and in a far poorer state 2 years ago, in Northern Ireland, it was over £10k.
Very first thing I did was remove the optional bag of spanners from the engine bay - Forte did the job perfectly! 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey |

My mate has a 4.2SC. I had that engine in my Sport a number of years back. You can pick these FF 4.2 SCs up for crazy low money. £15k anyone? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/adv...?logcode=p 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |
