You mean the bill board one? ... Series 1 and an Evoque parked nose to nose?

Thumbs Up Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

Do you mean the one on the telly for the new Range Rover?

Saw it last night, going on about the RR, Disco and Evoque being children of the original Land Rover.

I quite liked it.

Its a nice advert, but within a few seconds of starting it shows the Wilks family sat on a Willys Jeep, and you know that the marketing bods at LR thought that it was a series 1... Confused

There is one line I take exception with though. "...Not driven by vanity or fashion..." - that's why they got Posh involved with the Evoque - her years of mudplugging experience... Peter

Rolling with laughter

Stinks of more marketing tripe! We'll involve the most overrated, fashion wannabe, whose vanity is second only to her lack of talent. Then claim it's nothing to do with vanity and fashion - BOOM we capture everyone.

if they had included the current Defender in the final line up at the end of the ad (with the Disco and Evoque)it would have been just right ! But to lay on the heritage vibe, 'drawing in the sand' etc series one footage without an appearance from its direct descendant (which they still make dammit !) relegates the ad to marketing tosh and merely proves that they can't wait to get rid of the Defender.

Still its better than the Go Compare ads! Laughing
