Probably way too far for you but I can recommend West Somerset Land Rover just to the west of Wellington in Somerset.

I can recommend Rodger Young in Saltash whole heartedly - not an independent but they did my clutch quicker and cheaper than the 2 independents that I had cost the job first.
nice people - been using them for yonks and have never had a problem from them. Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |

Thanks guys
Bob: Probably a little far North but good to know for future reference as I drive to Snowdonia a fair bit over the Summer months... Wyvern: Good to hear you've had such good service from RY. I'll give them a call (especially as its about my clutch ) |

Just had my clutch replaced by Mark Kelly Land Rover in Tavistock. LR trained technician. Used him since my warranty expired. Modern workshop next to the Superwinch manufacturer, so you could treat yourself at the same time
Still use RY for the Sport and have no complaints but as the warranty has expired on the Defender don't see the need to pay dealer prices for other work. 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top |

Thanks Landlord
I agree with not paying over the odds for a 'name', that said I'd rather have it done well the first time(!).
Don't say that! Already saving for one of Killers DLR winch bumpers |
