Hi all
Just wondering what the current opinion on GRP/fibreglass bonnets is? A British friend of mine has a TD5 and wants a "Puma" bonnet in GRP. His has rusted really badly and he doesn't want to spend a fortune or buy a nicked one It would have to be an exact copy as the RDX ones won't get a TÜV (MOT) here in Germany. The only ones we can find look like Br*tpart. Has anyone had experience with those? Surely some of their stuff is okay? Are there other manufacturers out there? Cheers for any help Matt Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I've seen these, but have no experience of them. Would be also interested in opinions.

Cheers all
SGH - I suspect you won the "Bonnet-Lottery" Cheap metal one would be better IMHO too but they never seem to come up here (less bonnet thefts?). Not completely sure why he wants GRP but at least he can sort it out now - hate to think what postage to Germany will be Perhaps someone here stocks them... Good point but many German suppliers will already have added in equivalent UK shipping costs - plus German ones - plus a bit more. We're all paid too much so they find ways to get it off us
Anyway, it's his problem now (but I suppose I'll look anyway ) Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
