Any basis for this post, or is it just a statement of fact that they have not, so far displayed it in the UK?
Also correct me if I am wrong but the British International Motor Show stopped in 2008, and LR have only shown the DC100 at international shows. |

May be they have not had a suitable event to display it.
LR had a stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, but I am not sure what other events they have/will attend in the UK this year. They did also day that the DC100's purpose was to stimulate discussion and they have certainly done that in the UK without it even appearing! Don't get me wrong I am not rushing to my local dealer to put down a deposit. As I have said on a few occasions, to me it's more of a short wheelbase Disco, especially as it will probably share the same platform as the Disco 5. |

Will the 'DC100' actually be a VAT registered vehicle, that is N1 taxation class (commercial like a Navara) or will it be M1 (emissions based car)?
If it is the latter, then they have really sold out and really shafted the Defender. If they will do a commercial version, then it will probably get more respect and gain popularity as people come to terms with it. Harvey |

I'm not a fan of the DC100, its not DEFENDER enough, the Ford Bronco concept looks more like a Defender

I'd buy one for my daughter to drive, does that not demonstrate where this car fits?

It doesn't even exist yet and you lot are writing it off already, how good or bad it may be, is pure conjecture. It may be rubbish but then again it may be brilliant for all you know. Land Rover make some brilliant cars look at the new Range Rover, I wouldn't write them off just yet, you may be eating your words. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Unfortunately Marcus, you've just mentioned three cars i wouldn't buy . The new RR looks very nice though. I thought that the bling blings at LR would have had more input. must have been busy with the Evoke and RRS. |

If it's a Disco4, but simpler/smaller and classed as a commercial I'd love one - our Fl2 is brilliant and my Fl1 were great in their day.
