First post on Defender2 site as having a Disco 3, most of my time has been "over there"
Having just bought a new Tomb Raider Defender and posted pics on Disco3, thought they may go better over here - appologies to Disco 3 members who have seen these already. Bought two weeks ago from High Peak 4 x 4, it is a Tomb Raider 90 TD5 with an Ashcroft Auto Conversion - think it is unique unless anyone knows better. As well as the conversion, it has a Dastek chip, has had the cat removed and a SS straight through pipe, K&N filter and many other bits added - sounds awesome when booted. What's that on the back of the front seats? Or is it a secret?

Mounts for DVD players! Living in Bradford and already having had a defender nicked off the drive, I leave nothing inside now - also it has a Tracker fitted but don't tell anyone!!!!!

hi guys,
don't suppose any of you tomb raider chaps happen to know how many were made in total do you? all the official online press seems to say 250, but i'm sure that's just for the UK, even though the same press release went everywhere.... howmanyleft.co.uk is still showing 213 licensed or SORNed (122 are 90's) - i guess that means 250 would be about the right number for the UK. i've had a good look at the teamtombraider site (and tried to join without success) and one thing on there says 900 in total worldwide of which 316 were 110's. elsewhere on the site there is a figure of 400 in total so who knows! if anyone is interested these are the figures for mainland europe that i've found in various places (in various languages!):- france - 127 (105 of these are 90's) germany - 190 austria - 15 spain - 30 if those are right then 900 can't be far off 
i'm sure somebody on the teamtombraider site knows but i can't even ask until my registration request is approved...... |

I'll get the OH to dig through the paperwork in the loft. There were 250 TR90s and less 110s IIRC. Need to dig the paperwork out anyway as we are selling our 90.
