LR left and right headlight surrounds. Recently painted with gloss black, slight texture effect.

Glyn, the condition of the grill is excellent. Needs a wipe. The black fixing plugs are included too. |

Well after umming and arring for ages over a Java black KBX grill I decided it didn't look 'right' for me. Too techy compared to the rest of the car. So I whipped of the Brunnel grey lights and grill and replaced the with the same but in black. And I'm chuffed to bits. Matches the new black chequer and will go very well with the black wheels.

Is the black grill actually painted or is it couloired plastic. The reason I ask is because the Brunnel Grey on mine is pretty unforgiving in terms of stone chips

No it's coloured plastic. Much nicer than the finish on the Brunel IMO. Slightly textured too.

Black grill looks good against the silver body and with the black surrounds - is it OEM? Can't see if you still have the green/gold LR on the new grill - black/silver version would look good.
p.s. seems we may both inhabit the entertainment capital of south-east London! |

It is OEM. I chose to leave the little badge off though. The black would look better than the green but I'm not a badge fan. Says Land Rover on the bonnet, the badge is just unnecessary repetition.

I took the green/gold badge off too for the same reasons. 90XS in Java with silver grill/surrounds.
