Rear Wash Wipe
Does anyone with a TD5 have an intermittent rear wash wipe. Mine is either on or off, so would like to add a relay to make it intermittent. 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top

Would love to have that on my Puma too. I only know that Entreq is offering that, but seems quite expensive for a interval relay. Here is the link: http://www.entreq.de/workshop/electrical-e...e=default#

Then, their relay gives a 4 seconds interval, which I think for the rear wiper is stil too fast. 6 or even 8 seconds would be much better.

Look forward to hear brilliant suggestions for this.... You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Installed the new relay tonight - took 30 minutes - easy job and works as described - wish I'd known this mod a couple of years ago Confused 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top

I bought a kit from eBay a while ago, which I fitted last week and provides a 20 second delay:

With the addition of a connection to the washer switch, it will still run continuously when the washer is activated. It's the green wire with blue connector in the picture, although I haven't connected it at the other end yet. Taking the dash apart was a job for another day. Darren
