Cheers Matt, really helpful. Totally agree re using a LR dealer when the car is under warranty. Today I got prices from my local supplying dealer (£430!!), Stratstone (a more reasonable but still high £360) and a keen-to-win Guy Salmon £290. Quite a spread of prices...local dealer is trying to match. I have a slight preference to go locally because I usually find a follow-up visit is required

. All this got me thinking about my Discovery - it's going in this week for its 5 year service but it's only £349 - it gets cheaper as it gets older. Anyway, thanks again. Nick Defender 2.2 2013

Thanks all for the replies. Beadles (the original dealer) quoted me £441.13 for the service, Stratstones (who are fairly local to where I work in Docklands) quoted £323.00 - which I took and it's booked in next week.

Apart from the seatbelt recall I will ask them to adjust the bonnet which is a little out of alignment, almost touching the front wing at the nearside rear corner. Is this a fairly easy fix or is there some risk they could damage something?
