As the OP said, I'm pretty sure that he is looking for something to protect the seats when in the folded position so that the bottom of the squab, the metal work and seat tops and sides do not get damaged by stuff that gets thrown in the back.
I have been looking for something similar but so far have been unable to find anything, the best suggestion was to discuss the requirements with a marine trimmer. A Hatchbag type product would make a perfect solution but they do no make one for a Defender 90, go here to request that they consider making one. |

Jerseyman - that's the exact thing I'm looking for - just a strong 'bag' to slide down over the folded up seat mechanism to protect the seat.
I think I'll have to speak with a trimmer - and get something custom made. If I do get around to it, I'll post some pictures and make sure the trimmer keeps a pattern! Cheers for now John. Currently....... all gone...... pending delivery of a mid life crisis....... Previously..... Quite a few! I really am a sucker for them! |

OK, So it's taken a few months, but I found a trimmer, and they have made me some tough PU Acrylic Coated canvas covers which slip over the seats when they're folded up like a 'cover bag'
They've arrived this morning and I've checked the way they fit on a 110 Puma which is at work and they fit very nicely. When I get home and get them in my 90, I'll post some pictures. If anyone else is interested in them, let me know and I'll see if I can get a bulk order done. They cost me £150 to have done as a 'one off' but I'm sure with a little volume we'd get the price down. Cheers for now John. Currently....... all gone...... pending delivery of a mid life crisis....... Previously..... Quite a few! I really am a sucker for them! |
