Caravanning in Boston on our first ever CL site
Im currently caravanning near to Boston in Lincs (used to holiday here all the time as a kid), on our first ever CL site, and its fantastic. 5 vans on a one acre grassed field. Chickens and Peacocks roaming freely around us. Could stay here all summer. And all this for just £9/night..

It stands for Certified Location. Its a private site that has been certified by the Caravan Club to meet their required standards. They are only allowed upto 5 caravans at a time. Often they are located on farms, but anyone can have one, land permitting. You have to be a Caravan Club member to use one.The Caravan & Camping Club have them also, but teirs are called Certified Sites. Generally they have limited facilities, such as no toilet blocks, or even no electric hook up. But they are much cheaper than mormal sites and are often in fantastic locations.

I'm a tiger baby !!!
Haha, I am of course joking.... Wink

We, joined the c&cc because we heard cc was for elitists.... Though we won't use the membership benefits, we end up camping wherever we apply the handbrake.

Warpig, I do like. The idea of a site like that. We have a c&cc handbook with all the sites in, it may as well be the Davinci Code, it's hard work, I delegated it to Mrs G Whistle

Not all CLs or CSs require club membership so it is worth contacting them to check. Also some have toilets, showers and electric hookup. But generally they are quieter locations such as on farms and numbers are limited to 5 caravans and sometimes a small number of tents. Our blog - http://landytravels.com/

Probably !!!
I don't know, obviously as complete beginners, people have said cc is more for the upper class of folk and c&cc is for riff raff. I was told that after we joined.
We should of joined cc, as one has a bidet, don't you know?!
