Just been into my main dealer for some parts for my towbar and was told that there is a recall on my truck for replacing the bolts holding the seat belt.
I was told that this recall was raised late June but yesterday was the first I heard about it. Don't know if this is all Puma's or 90's inparticular, mines a 2yr old 90. Cheers, Ian Defender 90 HardTop in Keswick Green |

So, looks like i'm on the mailing list!
Got htis from LRSA Dear %FIRSTNAME% %LASTNAME%, Land Rover is undertaking a no charge recall to owners of certain 2011 / 2012 model year Defenders Land Rover has identified a concern where the seat belt mounting bracket on certain Defender vehicles has been found to be detached as a result of the securing bolts being fractured due to being overly brittle. The part is common to all Defender 90 vehicles, 130 chassis cab and certain derivatives of 110. Brittle securing bolts on the seat belt mounting bracket may not correctly restrain the occupant. Unrestrained occupants have an increased risk of injury or death in the event of an accident. Land Rover is carrying out a voluntary recall of the vehicles mentioned above. Land Rover Dealerships will replace the complete bracket assembly. If you have any queries or concerns that your local dealer cannot address, please contact Land Rover Relationship Center on 012 450 4006 or email crcza@jaguarlandrover.com and one of our representatives will be happy to assist you. Regards Jaguar Land Rover South Africa |

I'm booked in for next week. Apparently it only takes 20 minutes and they're going to do it while I wait.
